The Men’s and Women’s A, B, C and X Grade competitions will run for 18/19 weeks, from the week commencing October 11 totheweek commencing December 6, 2010 and from the week commencing January 24 totheweek commencing March 28, 2 011, with the semi-finalsduring the week commencingApril 4 and finalsonSunday, April 10, 2011.
GRADES OF SENIOR COMPETITION
BWPI provides a competition for Senior Players in a variety of divisions that cater to the full spectrum of ability. The competition is broken down in grades as follows - Men's and Women's - A, B, C and X Grades.
Men and Women X Grade is a social competition for older players who wish to play in a strong competition without being part of the developmental pathway to A, B or C Grades. In the spirit of the social nature of this competition, all X Grade players must be 15 years or older.

Arrangements will be made for each Grade / venue once the team numbers in each Grade are known and game nights and venues have been finalised.
REFEREEING
The Queensland Water Polo Referees’ Commission will be responsible for the appointment of the referees at all the Senior A, B & C Grade competition games this season, and BWPI will appoint the referees for the X Grade games. The cost of payment of the QWPRC referees is shared by BWPI (1/3 cost) and the competing Clubs in each competition. Accounts are sent out by the QWPRC at the end of each month.
